New Teachers At Clara Barton Middle School

Scene: Clara Barton Middle School, Portland, Oregon.
One day Sydney Reynolds and Olive walked into their science class. They both noticed right away that they have a new Science teacher.
SYDNEY: What happen to Mrs. Walsh?
NEW TEACHER: She retired.
OLIVE: Are you her replacement?
NEW TEACHER: Yes, I am and my name is Miss Marvella Prescott.
SYDNEY: My name is Sydney.
OLIVE: I am Sydney’s best friend Olive.
NEW TEACHER: It is very nice to meet you both.
OLIVE: You are pretty Miss Prescott.
MARVELLA: Thank you Olive and so are you.
OLIVE: Thanks.
The rest of the class came in.
MARVELLA: I am your new Science teacher Miss Prescott.
The rest of the day went by and now it is the end of the day. Sydney and Olive went back to Reynolds household. Max is sitting on the couch when they walked in.
MAX: How was school?
SYDNEY: It was really good and we have a new Science teacher.
MAX: What is your new Science teacher’s name?
OLIVE: Her name is Miss Marvella Prescott.
MAX: Oh, I see.
SYDNEY: She’s really pretty too.
MAX: I have never heard say that a teacher was pretty before.
SYDNEY: Yes, I know but I never liked a teacher this much even after one day.
The next Sydney and Olive are the first ones to Science class again. Marvella is sitting at the desk when they walked in.
MARVELLA: Good morning girls.
OLIVE: Good morning Miss Prescott.
MARVELLA: How was your night?
SYDNEY: It was good and I was telling my father about you.
MARVELLA: What is your father’s name?
SYDNEY: His name is Maxwell Keith Reynolds but he prefers call me Max.
MARVELLA: All right, that’s cool and I prefer to be Mal or Mae.
OLIVE: Those are really good nicknames.
MARVELLA: Thanks Olive.
OLIVE: Do you have any siblings?
MARVELLA: Yes, I am nonuplet.
SYDNEY: Wow, that’s cool.
OLIVE: How old are you?
MARVELLA: I am 28 years old.
SYDNEY: What are your twin sisters’ names?
MARVELLA: Their names are Havannah, Gracella, Jeneanna, Jimmesha, Nathayla, Sharmika, Troyanna and Yolandra.
OLIVE: Wow, that’s are really cool names.
MARVELLA: My twin sister Troyanna is the new foreign language teacher.
SYDNEY: Are you any of the twin sisters’ teachers here?
MARVELLA: Yes, they are.
OLIVE: What do they teacher?
MARVELLA: My twin sister Gracella is new music teacher.
OLIVE: (looking at Sydney) Wow, that’s up your alley.
MARVELLA: What does she mean?
SYDNEY: I play guitar.
MARVELLA: Oh okay.
OLIVE: What about your other sisters?
MARVELLA: Havannah is the new dance teacher, Jeneanna is the new math teacher, Jimmesha is the new Health, Nathayla is the new Social Studies teacher, Sharmika is the new Language Arts teacher and Yolandra is the new Physics teachers.
SYDNEY: Wow, that is so cool.
The rest of the morning went by and now it’s lunchtime. Sydney and Olive walked into the cafeteria. Olive spotted Marvella with her twin sisters and her brother-in-law.
OLIVE: There is Miss Prescott with her twin sisters.
SYDNEY: We should go over and introduce ourselves to them.
OLIVE: I was just thinking that same thing.
Sydney and Olive walked over to where Marvella is with her twin sisters.
SYDNEY: Hi, Miss Prescott.
MARVELLA: Hello Sydney.
OLIVE: We came over to introduce ourselves to your twin sisters.
MARVELLA: Okay.
SYDNEY: (looking at Marvella’s twin sisters) Hi, my name is Sydney Reynolds.
OLIVE: (looking at Marvella’s twin sisters: My name is Olive Rozalski and I am Sydney’s best friend.
MARVELLA: Sydney and Olive are in my Science class.
GRACELLA: Hi, my name is Gracella Blanchard but please call me Grace.
HAVANNAH: My name is Havannah Prescott but everyone calls me Hannah.
JENEANNA: Hi, my name Jeneanna Prescott but please call me Jenna.
JIMMIESHA: My name is Jimmesha Prescott but everyone calls me Jimma.
NATHAYLA: Hi, my name is Nathayla Prescott but please call me NA.

Troyanna Hi, my name is Troyanna Prescott but I preferred to be called T and my twin sisters call me Anna.

SYDNEY: It is very nice to meet and I really like your nicknames.
Troyanna sighed.
OLIVE: (looking at Troyanna) What’s wrong?
TROYANNA: I really miss my boyfriend.
OLIVE: What is his name?
TROYANNA: I am very sorry but I can’t reveal that.
OLIVE: Oh okay.
All of a sudden, Troyanna’s cellphone started to play DNA by BTS. Troyanna gasped then went out of earshot then swiped the phone and put it her ear.
TROYANNA: (Korean) Hi, handsome.
V: (Korean) Hello beautiful.
TROYANNA: (Korean) I miss you so much.
V: (Korean) I miss you too.
TROYANNA: (Korean) I am new foreign languages teacher at Clara Barton Middle School in Portland Oregon.
V: (Korean) Wow, that’s so amazing and you are good at speaking different languages.
TROYANNA: (Korean) Do you want my favorite language to speak is?
V: (Korean) No, I don’t.
TROYANNA: (Korean) My favorite language to speak is Korean.
V: (Korean) Does that have anything do with me?
TROYANNA: (Korean) Yes, it does because if I hadn’t learn that I won’t be able to communicate wit you.
V: (Korean) Yes, that’s true beautiful.
TROYANNA: (Korean) I should get back to my twin sisters.
V: (Korean) All right, I will talk to you later and I love you.
TROYANNA: (Korean) I love you too Kim Tae-hyung.
Troyanna and Kim Tae-hyung hung on each other. Troyanna walked back to where her twin sisters were still talking with Sydney and Olive.
OLIVE: Was that your boyfriend?
TROYANNA: Yes, it was.
SYDNEY: Does he miss you?
TROYANNA: Yes, he does.
OLIVE: I noticed that your ringtone is DNA by BTS.
TROYANNA: Yes, it is because they are my favorite K-Pop group.
OLIVE: I really like them too.
TROYANNA: Who is your favorite Olive?
OLIVE: My first favorite is RM and my second favorite is V.
Nathayla smiled.
NATHAYLA: RM is my favorite too.
OLIVE: (looking at Troyanna) Who is your favorite?
TROYANNA: My favorite is V because he’s so gorgeous.
GRACELLA: (sotto voce) Kim Tae-hyung.
Troyanna shiver and started to smile a little.
SYDNEY: What did you do that?
GRACELLA: I said her boyfriend’s name which makes her do that everytime she hears his name.
SYDNEY: Oh, okay.
JENEANNA: Did you know that there’s a parent-teacher meeting coming up soon?
SYDNEY: No, I didn’t so I’ll have to let my father know.
YOLANDRA: Do you live with your father?
SYDNEY: Yes, I do and my father’s mother also lives with us.
The next few hours went by and now it’s the end of school. Sydney went home and walked through the door. Judy walked into the living room.
JUDY: Hi, Noodle.
SYDNEY: Hi, Grandma.
JUDY: How was school Noodle?
SYDNEY: School was good. I met my new Science teacher’s twin sisters today.
JUDY: Are they nice?
SYDNEY: They are really nice and my new Science teacher is the nicest out of all of them.
JUDY: You like her?
SYDNEY: Yes, I really like.
JUDY: Oh okay cool.
Sydney looked around.
SYDNEY: What is my dad?
JUDY: He stepped out to get some groceries.
SYDNEY: Oh I see.
All of a sudden, Max walked in from the kitchen.
MAX: Hi, Syd.
SYDNEY: Hi, dad.
MAX: I missed you today.
SYDNEY: There is a parent-teacher meeting coming up soon.
MAX: All right, that’s cool.
SYDNEY: My new Science teacher’s twin sisters are new teachers at the school too.
A few hours later, Max is bed dreaming about finding love again. Sydney and Olive are their beds dreaming about finding boyfriends. Judy is bed dreaming about Max finding someone to love again. Gracella is sleeping in Glenford’s embrace.
