Chapter 1
Launchpad’s Sorrow

Scene: McDuck Manor.
One day Launchpad McQuack is sitting on the couch in the living room of McDuck Manor thinking about Della Duck. Huey, Dewey and Louie walked in the living room.
DEWEY: Launchpad, what are you thinking about?
LAUNCHPAD: (thinking) I cannot tell them I am thinking about their mother. (talking) I was thinking about my former girlfriend Ziyi.
LOUIE: Do you still love her?
LAUNCHPAD: No, I do not and we just good friends now.
Donald suddenly appeared and glared at Launchpad.
DONALD: Can I speak to you?
LAUNCHPAD: Yes, of course.
Donald and Launchpad went out of earshot.
DONALD: I heard everything you said to them and I cannot believe you would lie to them.
LAUNCHPAD: What do you mean?
DONALD: Launchpad, I know that you are secretly in love with my twin sister.
LAUNCHPAD: Are you mad?
DONALD: No, I am not if you promise that when we find that you will protect her at all cost.
Launchpad nodded his head. Dewey walked over to where Scrooge.
SCROOGE: What do you want?
DEWEY: I want to know what the spear of Selene is.
SCROOGE: How did you find about that?
DEWEY: I found mother’s secret hideout in your library archives and the letter that she left saying she took the spear of Selene.
SCROOGE: The spear of Selene is my spaceship.
DEWEY: Does mean that my mother is space?
SCROOGE: Yes, it does.
DEWEY: Why didn’t you and Uncle Donald after her?
SCROOGE: We both knew that she could take of herself.
DEWEY: She obviously cannot or you she would have been back home by now.
SCROOGE: What are you saying?
DEWEY: I am saying that we need to go save her.
SCROOGE: Space is a dangerous place Dewford.
DEWEY: It doesn’t matter how dangerous because she is trouble then we need save her.
Scrooge sighed because he knew that Dewey was right.
SCROOGE: It is getting late so we will go tomorrow.
Dewey nodded his head then left. Launchpad is still sitting on the couch in the living room about Della and his younger sister Rosenagela. Dewey noticed Launchpad noticed still sitting on the couch.
DEWEY: Launchpad, are you sure that you okay?
LAUNCHPAD: Yes, I am but I still miss my younger sister.
DEWEY: What is your younger sister’s name?
LAUNCHPAD: Her name is Rosangela Duckington but she prefers to be called Rose, Angel, Rosa or Angela.
DEWEY: When was the last time that you saw your younger sister?
LAUNCHPAD: The last time Rose was when my nephew was 8 years old.
DEWEY: How old would he be now?
LAUNCHPAD: My nephew is 13 years old.
DEWEY: Oh, cool.
LAUNCHPAD: I would give anything to see him and my family
DEWEY: What is your nephew’s name?
LAUNCHPAD: My nephew’s name is Leon.
A few hours later Launchpad in his bed dreaming about seeing Della and his younger sister Rosangela again. Huey, Dewey and Louie are their beds dreaming about finding girlfriends. Webby is in her bed dreaming about finding a boyfriend. Donald is his bed dreaming about seeing his twin sister again.

Chapter 2
Rescue Mission to Space

Scene: McDuck Manor.
It is the next day. Dewey is just waking up.
DEWEY: Huey and Louie, wake up now.
Huey and Louie opened their eyes.
LOUIE: Good mornin’.
DEWEY: We are going to save our mother.
HUEY: What do you mean?
DEWEY: Webby and I figured out where she is.
They all get into a Scrooge’s second rocket ship.
LOUIE: She is in space.
DEWEY: Yes, that is right.
They set a course for space to find Della Duck. Launchpad is piloting the rocket ship. Dewey sat up the rocket ship to pick other space ships. All of a sudden, the space ship radar start to beep.
WEBBY: What does that mean?
DEWEY: It means that there is another space ship nearby.
They followed the radar to the moon. Launchpad landed the ship.
SCROOGE: Donald, Huey and Louie will go left.
LAUNCHPAD: All right, Dewey, Webby and I will go right.
Dewey, Webby and Launchpad started to walk right. All of a sudden, Launchpad heard Della singing. Della is singing Fight Song by Rachel Platten.
DELLA: (singing) Like a small boat
On the ocean
Sending big waves
Into motion
Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I might only have one match
But I can make an explosion
And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain

Launchpad started go in direction of Della’s singing. Della is sitting beside her smashed up ship. Launchpad smiled when he seen that she is unharmed. Dewey and Webby run over to where they are. Della suddenly looked up.
DELLA: Launchpad, is that you?
LAUNCHPAD: Yes, it is Miss Della.
DELLA: It so good to see you.
LAUNCHPAD: Are you all right?
DELLA: Yes, I am fine but when my rocket ship crashed and I had no way home.
Dewey smiled.
DEWEY: Hi, mother.
Della looked at Dewey.
DELLA: Dewford, is that you?
DEWEY: Yes, it is mother.
All of a sudden, Scrooge, Donald, Huey and Louie.
DELLA: Herbert, Llewellyn.
HUEY: Yes, that is right mother.
DONALD: Hello, sister.
Della got to her feet and hugged Donald.
DELLA: I missed you so much Donald.
SCROOGE: Donald and I had a falling out after your disappearance.
DELLA: I am sorry for causing that.
DONALD: It is all right because you are unharmed.
Launchpad sighed.
LAUNCHPAD: (thinking) Della, I wish I could pull into arms and protect you forever.
Della noticed Launchpad in deep thought.
DELLA: What are you thinking about Launchpad?
LAUNCHPAD: It is not important right now.
They got into the Scrooge’s space ship then went back to McDuck Manor in Duckburg. Mrs. Beakley gasped when they walked into with Della.
MRS. BEAKLEY: Wow, you found her.
DELLA: It is good to back home.
SCROOGE: Della, I will show to your bedroom.
DELLA: Thanks Scrooge.
Scrooge started to walk down the hallway and Della followed him. Donald looked at Launchpad.
DONALD: (sotto voce) Are you going to tell her how you feel?
LAUNCHPAD: (sotto voce) Yes, I will tell her when the time is right.
DONALD: (sotto voce) When will that be?
LAUNCHPAD: (sotto voce) I do not know.
DONALD: (sotto voce) Launchpad, do not wait too long because those kinds of feelings that you have inside will only eat you alive.
LAUNCHPAD: (sotto voce) Yes, I know that.
Donald and Launchpad walked after Scrooge showing Della to her bedroom. Launchpad smiled when see that Scrooge gave Della the bedroom right across from his bedroom.
DELLA: (thinking) Wow, I missed Launchpad so much.
LAUNCHPAD: My bedroom is right across the hall from you.
DELLA: That is good to know.
LAUNCHPAD: What do you mean by that?
DELLA: I do not want to say right now.
DONALD: I have confession.
LAUNCHPAD: What is your confession?
DONALD: My real name is Donaldson.
LAUNCHPAD: (turning to Della) What is Della short for?
DELLA: It short for Donatella.
LAUNCHPAD: Why do not go by it?
DELLA: I do not like it that much.
LAUNCHPAD: Della, I think it is very beautiful name.
DELLA: Thanks Launchpad.
Della walked into her bedroom. Scrooge looked at Launchpad.
SCROOGE: Are you in love with her?
LAUNCHPAD: Yes, I am but you cannot tell the triplets.
Launchpad walked into his bedroom leaving the door open. Della is in her bedroom with the door open too. Della smiled than started to sing I Honestly Love You by Olivia Newton-John.
DELLA: (singing) Maybe I hang around here
A little more than I should
We both know I got somewhere else to go
But I got something to tell you

But I believe you really ought to know

LAUNCHPAD: (thinking) She is in love with someone but the chances that is me are very slim.
A few hours later Launchpad is in his bed dreaming about Della. Della is her bed dreaming about Launchpad. Huey, Dewey and Louie are their beds dreaming about finding girlfriends. Webby is her bed dreaming about find a boyfriend. Donald is his bed dreaming about Daisy.

That was a good chapter. I like the part when Della sang the song Fight Song by Rachel Platten that is my favorite song by Rachel Platten.
